Sobre este complemento
Create smarter booking forms with dynamic rules based on dates, guests, children’s ages, length of stay, seasons, and much more.
Host Domination Conditional Logic adds advanced rule-based automation to your booking form. Instead of showing the same options to every guest, you can automatically adapt fields, services, messages, and booking availability based on the details of each stay.
Create simple IF / THEN rules such as:
- If a child is under 6 years old → show the baby cot service
- If all children are under 12 years old → hide a specific paid service
- If check-in is between June and September → show a seasonal service or message
- If the stay exceeds 7 nights → show a special option
- If there are more than 4 guests → show additional information
- If there are fewer than 2 days until check-in → show a last-minute notice
- If a booking falls within a specific month → activate seasonal options
- If the guest selects a specific calendar/property → apply dedicated rules
- If specific conditions are not met → block the booking
- If a condition is met → make a field or service mandatory
Smart Rules That React in Real Time
Conditional Logic evaluates the information entered by the guest and dynamically updates the booking form.
Rules can react to Adults, Children, Total Guests, Number of Nights, Check-in Date, Check-out Date, Month, Day of the Week, Days Before Arrival, and Children’s Ages.
With the new children’s age-based system, you can create much more precise booking conditions. Instead of simply checking whether children are present, rules can evaluate the youngest child, the oldest child, any child, or all children.
For example, a property can offer a baby cot free of charge only when at least one child is under three years old, show a child-specific service only to families, or apply different rules based on the ages entered during the booking process.
Seasonal and Date-Based Conditional Logic
Conditional Logic is also ideal for properties with seasonal operations.
You can create different booking experiences based on the period selected by the guest. Show summer services during high season, display winter information during colder months, activate special requirements for specific dates, or create rules that apply only when a stay spans multiple months.
This makes the booking form more flexible without requiring separate forms for each season.
Automatically Show, Hide, or Require Options
Rules can control different elements of the booking experience.
You can dynamically show or hide custom fields, show or hide Service Extras, make specific fields mandatory, make specific services mandatory, display contextual messages, or prevent the guest from continuing with the booking when specific requirements are not met.
This helps keep the booking form cleaner: guests only see the options that are actually relevant to their booking.
Combine Multiple Conditions with ALL or ANY Logic
For more advanced scenarios, you can combine multiple conditions within the same rule.
Use ALL when all conditions must be met, or ANY when meeting just one condition is enough.
For example:
IF
Check-in Month = August
AND
Children > 0
AND
At least one child’s age ≤ 5
THEN
Show baby cot service
Or:
IF
Nights ≥ 7
OR
Total Guests ≥ 5
THEN
Show a custom booking message
This allows you to create highly specific workflows while keeping configuration simple.
Rules for Individual Properties and Calendars
Managing multiple accommodations does not mean every rule has to apply everywhere.
Conditional Logic rules can be assigned to specific Booking Engine calendars, allowing you to create different behaviors for individual rooms, apartments, vacation rentals, or properties.
A family apartment can use specific child-related logic, while another property can use completely different rules.
Compatible with the Booking Engine Ecosystem
Conditional Logic is designed to integrate with Host Domination Booking Engine PRO and its add-ons.
It can work together with Service Extras, Coupon Codes, Deposit Payments, Custom Booking Fields, and future Booking Engine extensions, turning the booking form into a coordinated system rather than a collection of independent features.
The latest version also supports the Booking Engine’s structured children’s age variables, making age-based rules available to other compatible extensions as well.
A Smarter Booking Experience
A long booking form filled with irrelevant options can create unnecessary complexity.
Conditional Logic allows the booking form to adapt to the booking the guest is creating, helping them see the right information at the right time.
The result is a simpler, smoother booking process, clearer requirements, and greater control over direct booking management.
